Brian Beppu was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from Art Center College of Design (illustration major) in 1997.
His first job out of school was working for Square USA in Honolulu, HI working on the Final Fantasy: Spirits Within movie. Brian quickly transitioned to the games industry and worked as a background artist on Final Fantasy IX.
Brian moved on to work on Freaky Flyers as a texture artist for Midway in San Diego, CA. He soon moved back to LA and began working for Naughty Dog as a texture artist on Jak 3, Jak X, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. He left to work as a visual development artist on the animated films TMNT, Gatchaman, and AstroBoy. Brian would later return to Naughty Dog to help complete Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
