Bruce Carver

Developer BIO

Carver, along with his brother Roger and his friend Chris Jones, founded the Salt Lake City-based Access Software back in 1982. He began to produce titles such as Beach Head 1 and 2 and Raid over Moscow on the C64. In the 90's Access created the Golf Simulation Links and moved on to produce early PC CD-ROM titles such as Under A Killing Moon in 1994.

The company was acquired by Microsoft in 1999. Carver left in 2003 to pursue new interests, including construction and large-screen golf simulation projects.

He died of cancer on the 28th of December, 2005 at the age of 57. At that time he was survived by his mother Mary, his wife Lenna, three sons, three daughters and 16 grandchildren.
