Developer Biography

Sumit Arora has been working in the games industry since 2003, and can look back on 11 years of professional experience in game testing. His career began in the QA department at Babel Media. There he took part in functionality QA and managed testing of the world-renowned titles.

In 2010, he moved to GlobalStep LLC as Manager Operations. Here, he took part in expanding the QA department, where in just one year, he is responsible for managing over 100 titles with world-renowned AAA like Split-Second, Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Venetica, Epic Mickey, Dark Souls 1 and 2 etc.

As the Operations Manager at GlobalStep, he is responsible for the planning, scheduling and overseeing of all quality assurance throughout the company. On a daily basis he liaises with management, clients, publishers, production, and my QA Managers, Test Coordinators and Project Leads. He ensures that all projects have sufficient resources, and all necessary areas of the game are covered. He oversees all projects and his leads actions, as well as mentoring their development along with the rest of his QA Team(s).

He has strong management skills, with a proven ability to focus on priorities, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines on time. He is extremely organized with exceptional communication skills. He works within a fast-paced, dynamic and fast-changing environment, continually reacting to the requirements of publishing partners and developer management.

Due to his extensive QA experience and wealth of gaming knowledge, he frequently give essential design and technical feedback to the clients, ensuring their games offer amazing experiences and meet the highest standards possible.
