Sara received a B.S. in Graphic Design/Illustration from San Jose State University and began a brief period of freelancing and interning as an illustrator. She landed her first game industry freelance gig with SSI
- painting background maps for People's General
. She quickly developed a liking for the leisurely lifestyle of the game artist as opposed that of the starving artist and she went on to work on a FPS game called Requiem
at Cyclone Studios
. She spent the two years following Requiem learning and paying her dues while working on various Might and Magic
titles for 3DO. She joined Nihilistic Software
in Fall of 2000. Sara's passions are art and driving.
