About MeWell, it must have been around 1988 when I began writing computer music. First there were, Commodore VC20, then C16/116 which all had one thing in common: It was nearly impossible to write something like music!
But then the Commodore C64 appeared as a promising new homecomputer with something like 3 independent voices, wow! Congratulations! The best homecomputer system of all times was born!
After first experiences I made a lot of intro and demo sounds for different computer groups (look under “ C64 music”), like “Lazer, Warriors of Darkness or 711”. Then I worked out different game musics for software companies like “Digital Marketing, Byteriders, Digital Excess or Starbyte”.
Years later, when the Amiga began to “infiltrate” the 64-scene I started to collect more professional studio equipment (synthies, samplers, sampleplayers, mixers...). After some music for games and videos I’m still composing and producing music. (You can find some old and new tracks under “PC music”).
