Brett worked on the original proof of concept for the game that would become Baldur's Gate in November of 1995 and started up the Edmonton office with the original 7 people in the Edmonton office near the University of Alberta.
Over the next three years he did some of the early 3D Graphics for Baldur's Gate but ultimately focused on the setup of the internal network for the startup and the early versions of the Web Site. After leaving the company in 1998, he completed a BSc in Computer science and has since been working as a software developer for organizations outside of the Gaming industry including the Government of Alberta, Alberta Health Services and the City of Calgary.
