Servan Keondjian

Developer BIO

Few people know more about games engines than Servan. Co-founder of Qube Software, the source of Asylum's platform-independent, real-time 3D technology. He is the technical director of Asylum Entertainment and one of the company's principals.

In 1993 Servan co-founded RenderMorphics, a company specializing in cutting-edge 3D graphics technologies. RenderMorphics rapidly became a world leader in its field with the widely acclaimed RealityLab technology. Microsoft bought RenderMorphics in 1995 with the aim of incorporating the RealityLab technology into Windows 95.

Servan subsequently headed up the DirectX 3D team at Microsoft responsible for integrating 3D graphics into Windows 95. He was also the consultant for top game houses (including LucasArts) and to graphics hardware vendors but then left Microsoft to start up Qube, which is committed to developing the component technologies required to realize the 3D potential of the Internet.
