Steve Siro Vai was born July 6, 1957 in Carle Place, NY. He's a guitarist, composer and record producer, on time winner and nine times nominated to the Grammy Award.
Besides his solo career, Steve has worked with several music artists, such as
Frank Zappa,
David Lee Roth, Whitesnake,
Ozzy Osbourne, among others. With his former teacher
Joe Satriani and a constant changing third guest guitarist, he performs in G3, an almost annual live music show and concert tour.
He has also acted in some movies and worked in movie soundtracks, such as Crossroads, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, PCU and
John Carpenter's Ghosts of Mars.
Besides having his songs featured in some games, Steve has also worked actively producing some video game soundtracks.
