Biography edit · view history
John Smiley was an artist with Ubisoft Reflections (previously Reflections Interactive) since 2001. He worked on several games in the Driver series. He was diagnosed with Myeloma, a form of bone marrow cancer. After three years of treatment his final hope was to receive a bone marrow transplant from an unknown donor. There were however many complications and he was not able to overcome them. John Smiley passed away most likely in 2010, in his early 30's. In the credits of Driver: San Francisco (2011) the Reflections team mentions a dedication to him.
