Laralyn McWilliams is a game designer and video game producer, and currently a Creative Director at Loot Drop, Inc. in San Mateo, California.
Laralyn was creative director for Free Realms, an MMORPG developed and operated at Sony Online Entertainment in San Diego. She was recognized by Massive Online Gaming as one of the most influential people in MMOs in 2010, sharing the #1 slot with SOE president John Smedley.
Laralyn was also lead designer for Full Spectrum Warrior at Pandemic Studios. She was also one of the Gamasutra 20 for Women in Games. At the 2011 Game Developer's Conference, Laralyn shared the stage with Brenda Brathwaite in a talk about "Intuition vs Metrics: How Social Game Design Has Evolved".
McWilliams has a B.A. in Psychology from Vassar College, and a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law.
