This is the same Robert Carter that founded Thrustmaster. Robert Carter, founder of Flight Dynamics, Inc., designed a realistic joystick that resembled the joystick found in the F4 Phantom including the four-way hat switch on the top of the controller. The company subsequently went public and Mr. Carter left to start a flight simulator company. The company contracted to build simulators for the international military market.
