I am actually a chemist by training having been awarded a Ph.D. on conducting polymers on the 6th November, 2003.
I have been testing computer games for Electronic Arts since the end of May, 2003. My first game that I tested was Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup on the GBA. I then tested this game on the three main consoles, followed by Looney Tunes and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
In February 2004 I rejoined Electronic Arts in the Language Integration Testing department where I worked on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Breakdown, Anno 1503: Treasures, Monsters and Pirates, Catwoman and the demo for Burnout 3.
In June I left to do my first postdoc at Kingston University on intraocular lenses. I finished the project started by Emma McGonigle, and I have submitted two papers for publication in peer reviewed journals.
This finished at the end of October and mid November I returned to Electronic Arts Ltd where I tested Time Splitters: Future Perfect. I then did some testing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on the GBA and NDS and Batman Returns. I am now testing Black and White 2.
