As the global quality assurance director for Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., Michael Gilmartin is responsible for overseeing the testing and localization of all Blizzard products. This involves coordinating strategies and communication to maximize efficiency and consistency across multiple teams worldwide. Gilmartin arrived at Blizzard Entertainment in 2004 following nearly 15 years of success in positions at several game companies, including SEGA of America, Inc., Eidos Inc., Maxis Software, Inc., and Atari, Inc. Over the course of his career, he has served as producer, senior producer, designer, director of quality assurance, and studio head, among other roles. He has been involved with more than 100 titles, including AAA franchises such as World of Warcraft, Unreal Tournament, Neverwinter Nights, Tomb Raider and Sid Meier’s Civilization.
