Benjamin HoytDeveloper BIO
Benjamin Hoyt was first exposed to the video game industry shortly after he graduated from college, when he was working at a small start-up middleware developer called
Silver Platter Software. After Silver Platter went out of business in mid-2003, he decided that his next job would be much more hands-on with game development. When he received an offer to relocate from Southern California to Chicago in order to work as a Producer at
High Voltage Software he jumped at the opportunity. After spending 2 years at High Voltage Ben joined
EA Chicago, where he worked as a Development Director on
Def Jam: Icon, until August, 2006. In 2007 he has returned to Southern California where he is the Producer in charge of creating product marketing demos for
Emergent Game Technologies, makers of the
Gamebryo game engine.
