Lou Catanzaro has been in the game’s industry since 1995, where he began his career as a Lead Artist for Papyrus Design Group/Sierra on such projects as: IndyCar Racing II, NASCAR Racing 2, and the NASCAR Grand National Series Expansion Pack.

In 1998 Lou left Papyrus to become one of the founding members of Blue Fang Games. Lou was Art Director for the original Zoo Tycoon series of products published by Microsoft Games Studios. Lou was credited as Art director and a contributing lead artist on: Zoo Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon: Dinosaur Digs, Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection, Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania, as well as the 2004 release of Zoo Tycoon 2. The original Zoo Tycoon has gone on to sell more than 5 million copies worldwide.

In 2005 Lou became a Project Director and Art Director for Mad Doc Software, creators of the critically acclaimed RTS title, Empire Earth II.
