Jeff joined Psygnosis Ltd / Sony Computer Entertainment Studio Liverpool, in January 1993 and left in May 2007.
Like many in the games industry he started as a tester, where he tested such classic games as Lemmings 2, Walker and Sensible Soccer etc.
The remainder of his time at SCEE Studio Liverpool was as a Video Editor (Technical Specialist)
He created literally 1000's of game edits over that time. Ranging from simple teaser/trailers, to documentary style 'Making of..' videos. These videos were not just for marketing the games, but some were part of the game development itself e.g. instruction videos for Buzz! Junior Monster Rumble.
On many of the filming projects he was the lead cameraman, including some where he also directed. (filming with Beta SP cameras and HDV camcorders)
This has also included filming in many countries over the years, such as France, Germany, Spain, Japan, the USA, etc... interviewing people like Jet Li, Murray Walker/Martin Brundle, Richard Burns/Robert Reid, the cast and crew of the hit TV show 24 on the CTU film set, etc..
He has also filmed many times at software presentations/shows such as E3 and at other press events.
He is very creative, but also very technical and has vast experience using both Avid and Final Cut Pro HD editing systems. He also has a lot of file encoding experience.
He is currently a freelance Video Editor and continues to work with game developers/publishers.
