Before entering the Games Industry, Matthew Severin worked in television doing camera work and editing for a number of shows including: The Writing Life, The Artist's Life, and The Big Comfy Couch.

Since 2003 he has worked at Rockstar Toronto where he recently completed work as a Gameplay Scripter on The Warriors.
