Hungarian Mihaly Kenczler was born in 1952. He became mechanical engineer (M.Sc. M.E.) in 1976, and learned a little programming by himself. He found out the horizontal scrolling effect used in the game by rotating the bits of multiple character-definition arrays. (The background scrolls for the moving train illusion.) After the Express Raider project he took part in the creation of Impossible Mission II, C64, ZX Spectrum, Amiga, PC and Nintendo versions, where planned the levels.
