Developer Biography

Bjorn Madsen (full name "Bjorn Toft Madsen", but credited as Bjorn Madsen) joined the Danish Army Reserve Officer Program after high school. He achieved Honour Degree in Advanced Computing at Aarhus Business College (Denmark) and First Class degree in Computer Games Technology (BSc/CGT) at Abertay Dundee University (Scotland).

He was hired by Rare Limited (part of the Microsoft Game Studios Group) as a Software Engineer in 2004. He is credited on Perfect Dark Zero as Effects Programmer and was a Lead Engineer on Rare's Xbox Live Avatar efforts. He currently works on undisclosed prototypes.

His childhood was influenced by his father's job in Danish Navy and Danish Foreign Ministry. He has lived in Denmark, the US, Canada, Sweden, Scotland and now England. Bjorn Madsen has one older brother who is a Doctor of Molecular Plant Biology. His parents have been married for more than 30 years and have retired from work.

Bjorn Madsen likes working, trekking, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
