Developer Biography

Note that there are two Alexandre Pelletier at Ubisoft Montreal. The reported credits contains a mix of both. One is a lead programmer, one is a coordinator.

Here's the bio of the lead programmer: Alexandre Pelletier's first program ever was done recording his voice on a Commodore Vic-20 tape, trying to mimic the sound he heard on other Vic-20 tapes. It was a huge fail as, surprisingly, his recording did not run the game he thought he had invented. So he later decided to learn Basic programming on his Commodore 64.

With no school degree, he started working at Ubisoft Montreal on September 10th, 2003 as a Data Manager on Far Cry Instincts. Within 6 months, he was 'promoted' to a generalist programmer position. He started as a gameplay programmer on Lost: Via Domus and moved up to a lead/managing position in gameplay/AI since then.
