Paul Lundahl - Interactive Designer/ Director/ Producer/ Editor
For over 20 years Paul has been shooting, producing and editing films and videos. His work includes documentaries, experimental films, music videos and film for performance. He won a gold award from CPB for the documentary “Anatomy of a Springroll” which has aired on over 250 PBS affiliates, in film festivals and museums around the country. His documentary on the late Stan Brakhage, Parallel Faust, has been shown in NY, SF and Denver. Paul’s 25’ x 40’ digital film installation, Dance, has been playing at Experience Music Project in Seattle since 2001. He is co-founder of eMotion studios, a company specializing in digital filmmaking. eMotion studios has offices in Sausalito, California and Tokyo, Japan where they are involved in projects using the latest video technology for feature films, documentaries, entertainment and corporate promotion.
Paul is a frequent speaker on digital media and the future of interactive television and has taught filmmaking in Croatia, New York and Hollywood. Paul’s international production credits include director/producer/camera roles in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nicaragua, Thailand, Bhutan, Vietnam, Angola, London and Venezuela.
Paul has presented work at The Sundance Film Festival 2000, the result of a unique assignment teaching filmmaking to young students in Bhutan. His work has also been shown on Germany’s Arte television, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and theaters throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
