Darryl Wright was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He began his career working in the telecom and network technology business and was later hired by HB Studios in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. While at HB Studios he worked several iterations of the EA Sports Rugby and EA Sports Cricket franchises as a developer before being promoted to Technical Lead. As Technical Lead he did several more iterations of these titles as well as THQ's Big Beach Sports and a short time on NHL 09.
In 2008 Darryl relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia where he joined Deep Fried Entertainment as a senior developer.
