Developer Biography

Daniel has worked in the games industry for over 12 years across several start-ups as well as giants like Electronic Arts and Microsoft. Daniel spent most of the last 12 years at Electronic arts- in the early days of his career he was responsible for 3Rash (THRASH) a D3D and Glide rendering engine used in most of the older PC sports and racing titles from Electronic Arts. Later Daniel moved on to XBOX development and was the lead engineer on EAGL XBOX- EAGL was a cross platform rendering engine at EA used in over 80 titles across sports, racing, and fps genres (covering the PC, GC, PS2, XBOX, Wii and PSP platforms). After 5+ years working on rendering engines Daniel joined "Team Fusion" to work on various PSP, Wii, 360 and PS3 titles in various roles including Lead Programmer and Technical Director. The last 2 years Daniel was the Group Technical Director for Fusion and oversaw the technical planning and direction of the NHL, Tennis and EA Sports Active franchises.

Daniel has since moved on to Microsoft and is currently a Development Manager in the Microsoft Game Studios group working on a large unannounced title.
