Developer BIOZoe earned her BA in Visual Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Certificate in Multimedia from the University of British Columbia. Zoe's passion for video games was sparked when she discovered the Nintendo game system through her older brothers. After many years of extracurricular activities playing Street Fighter, Mario, and Zelda, she was ready to start her career. At the internationally-acclaimed Banff New Media Institute, she worked as a Line Producer on multiple multimedia projects including an online series of games created to teach Physics and Math to secondary students in rural Alberta.
Zoe transitioned into the world of commercial game development when she joined Backbone Entertainment as an Associate Producer working on Sonic Rivals (PSP) and the original IP Mad Monster Lab (DS/Wii). In 2007, she joined Pandemic Studios in Brisbane, Australia to work as a Senior Associate Producer on an unannounced title based on a major comic book and movie license. During this time she also worked on The Saboteur (360/PS3/PC) cinematics team at Pandemic's LA studio. She returned to Canada in 2009, joining the central art team at Electronic Arts Canada as a Development Director and started teaching in the Game Design program at Vancouver Film School.
Zoe has continued to work on independent art projects, earning a BravoFact grant as the Producer of the animated short Throw it on a Fire, and was the Project Manager for the interactive web art piece Flowering of Forgotten Gifts, produced for the National Film Board of Canada.
Zoe is active with the group Women in Games Vancouver and an avid Wonder Woman fan.
