Dan Magaha

Developer BIO

Dan joined Firaxis in 1999 as the company's first full-time Webmaster and joined the producer ranks two years later. Dan holds a BS and MS in Information Systems management from UMBC, and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Prior to joining the games profession, Dan worked as an electronic commerce consultant for Cap Gemini America.

Dan recently wrapped production on Sid Meier's Railroads! for the PC. Prior to Railroads!, he co-designed and produced the Xbox version of Sid Meier's Pirates!, and was a producer on both the PC version of Pirates! and Sid Meier's Civilization 4.

Dan has also served as the former membership coordinator and webmaster of the IGDA Production SIG. His 18-month-old son Logan is his pride and joy.
