Kate Mulgrew first appeared in the drama series Ryan's Hope. She played Mary Ryan in the series and was part of the main cast from 1975 - 1977 and also appeared in the series many times during the 1980s. From 1995 - 2001 she played Captain Kathryn Janeway on Star Trek: Voyager. She also appeared as Kathryn Janeway in the new film Star Trek: Nemesis.
