William Haskins

Developer BIO

William Haskins has worked as a writer and producer in the film and video game industries since 1997.

William is currently serving as producer on Wizard 101, an MMO from KingsIsle Entertainment. He previously co-produced and served as story supervisor on the feature-length documentary Burning Man: Beyond Black Rock. He also produced, directed, or otherwise contributed to more than a dozen documentary shorts as Editor-in-Chief of SubstanceTV - a DVD-based magazine devoted to contemporary art and culture.

His ongoing work in the video and PC game industry includes staff and contract positions at both the developer and publisher levels, where he has produced, written game dialogue, user manuals, strategy guides and web and marketing copy.

William published his first short fiction and poetry while studying English at Louisiana State University. He lives with his wife and children in Austin, Texas.
