Developer Biography

Karen Petersen entered the industry in 1999 and graduated from Sonoma State University with a BS in Computer Science in 2001. She worked for LucasArts from 2000 - 2004 as a programmer/software engineer. She then worked for Telltale Games from 2005 - 2007 as a programmer/software engineer and shipped 2 titles as a Lead Programmer: CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder and CSI: Hard Evidence. Since late 2008, she has been developing an independent, privately-funded web project.

Before Karen was a software engineer, she was a teacher of mathematics for 4 years at a high school. Her love of learning and the sciences led her to computer science. There she believes she's found her true career. She enjoys all aspects of software development and thrives on learning new technologies which is what led her to start a web project.
