Developer Biography

David Hayter is an actor and screenwriter from Canada. Although he did some live acting in the 1990s he went on to specialise in voice acting and performed various roles in both film and television productions.

Hayter is well known for playing the part of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid video game series. His first appearance was in the Playstation 1 title released in 1998, and his last was in Metal Gear Solid 4. He was replaced by Kiefer Sutherland for the next game in the series Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Hayter also worked on the games Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
