Developer Biography

Armed with an Atari 800XL at the age of 10, William Ho dreamed of making video games when he grew up. He studied computer programming for years, but to tell the truth, he wasn't that good at it.

One spring day, his computer programmer uncle gave him sage advice: "Forget about programming. Let some other geek do it for you."

And so William pried his hands off his keyboard and studied fine art, mass media, and journalism.

William abandoned his dreams of becoming a rock critic to enter the video game industry. He started his career at Radical Entertainment in Vancouver, B.C., where he cut his teeth on a number of unreleased sports games to be published by a company whose mascot is a mouse.

Black Box Games was his next destination, where he was Game Designer on the Playstation 2 version of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Electronic Arts' acquisition of Black Box Games led to his role as Associate Producer on Need For Speed Underground.

William is currently the Lead Game Designer at Pseudo Interactive in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
