Daniel Roy was a producer with Ubisoft and BioWare between 2003 and 2009. He is now a freelance game writer.
He joined Ubisoft's Shanghai studio in 2003 as a level designer on Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, then became associate producer on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 for the PS2. He was producer for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent before joining Ubisoft's Montreal studio as an associate producer for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Between 2008 and 2009, he was senior producer and principal project manager for an unreleased, original IP with BioWare's Edmonton studio. Roy left the game industry in 2009 to travel, but has resumed his work in the industry in 2011 as the game writer for indie Korean developer Nooby Island.
