Clayton got his start in the industry working at Stormfront Studios as a gameplay engineer on The Spiderwick Chronicles. After Stormfront's closure, he moved over to EA Redwood Shores (Visceral Games) working on Dead Space as a gameplay/AI engineer. He continued in this role for Dante's Inferno until his departure in 2009 to Blizzard to begin work on the Diablo franchise as a Online Systems programmers. Clayton is currently at Microsoft working on the Gears of War franchise.
Clayton is an active member of the IGDA and AI Game Programmers Guild.
