Developer Biography

Mike Bazzell has been an artist in the gaming industry since 1986 and is currently a Senior Artist with Firaxis Games.

At Firaxis Games, he has worked on published titles such as Pirates! PC & X-Box, Civilization III, Civilization IV and Alpha Centauri. Prior to Firaxis Games, at MicroProse Software he worked on Pirates! Gold for the Sega Genesis, Civilization II and Magic: The Gathering. Before MicroProse he worked at Innerprise Software and Discovery Software developing computer and video games for such platforms as Sega Genesis, Amiga and Macintosh Computers.

Michael is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art with a degree in Illustration / Visual Communication.
