Robert GiedtDeveloper BIORobert Giedt entered the game industry in 1989 as a game tester for Spectrum HoloByte (Sphere), moving on to technical writing (documentation) in 1990. Additionally worked on user-interface design for Falcon 3.0 and a handful of other projects. Left Spectrum in 1996 to work for TEN (the Total Entertainment Network), the first full-fledged online game service where players could play multiplayer games through a proprietary client. Worked as senior editor, creating documentation and was involved with supporting the online community. TEN morphed into pogo.com in 1999, a free service providing fun, Java-based family games for the web. During this time, Robert worked as a writer and web developer writing HTML and JavaServer Pages. In 2001, pogo was purchased by EA.com (a division of Electronic Arts), and that same year, Robert became Web Development Manager for that group, where he is currently working.
