Michael Kairat has been working in the software industry since 1993 and has worked, amongst others, at Sunflowers as Product Support Coordinator (Die Fugger II, Holiday Island, Anno 1602 etc), with Infogrames as Producer (Europa 1400: The Guild, Ronaldo Soccer, Dethkarz, Soccer Management etc), and for JoWooD Productions as internal Project Lead for Industry Giant II and Producer for The Sting!, The Nations and Rally Trophy as well as a QA Manager and internal producer for The Guild 2 at 4 Head Studios.

In November 2006, Michael Kairat was appointed Executive Producer at JoWood.
