Graduating with a Master (Specialist) degree in Software Architecture and Systems Design from NTUU KPI, Vitalii joined Ubisoft in 2007 in Bucharest with around 3 years of engineering experience in total.
As for lead engineer, his first game project was to port XBOX360 BA2 to a PC in the production stage together with a small team of 3 programmers. He participated in Ubisoft Ukraine studio start-up as a studio production lead and contributed to the launch of Ubisoft studio, forming first self-managed multidisciplinary core team for TC HAWX PC, as per the press release by Ubisoft Group.
In 2008 Vitalii moved to the company's production studio Ubisoft Montreal, and joined the project team at the very beginning to participate in the game production from the full start. Being the first Ukrainian engineer in the Canadian studio allowed him to welcome next arrivals from Kiev studio and to ease their integration in a new city.
Due to the international nature of Ubisoft, Vitalii has earned a great experience in Canada and Europe, collaborating with creative multinational teams and people ( Canada, US, UK, Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Sweden, France ... ) working with a multidisciplinary crew for projects which are developed at multisite during conception, pre-production and production phases.
In 2011 graduated with comprehensive Project Management Program from McGill University and focused on Essence and business software and mobile Apps
