Rod Humble

Developer BIO

Rod Humble has been employed in the game industry since 1990. He has worked on over 200 different games, including The Humans, Brutal, and EverQuest.

In 2004 he started working for Electronic Arts as Head of Sims Studio and in October 2008 he became Executive Vice President and Head of the Sims label and later also the EA Play label. On 23rd December 2010 Linden Lab announced that Humble had joined the company and was appointed CEO to oversee the development of Second Life.

In his spare time, he paints and he creates independent art games, such as The Marriage, Stars over Half Moon Bay and Last thoughts of the Aurochs.
