Developer Biography

Was the lead translator for Squaresoft from 1990 to 1996, translating Final Fantasy II (Final Fantasy IV in Japan), Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest, Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2 in Japan), Final Fantasy III (Final Fantasy VI in Japan), Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG. He is known best for translating Final Fantasy III (US).

When Square moved from Redmond, Washington to Los Angeles, Ted Woolsey did not follow that move. He then helped found Big Rain in 1996 (changed its name to Craveyard in 1997), and developed the game Shadow Madness, which was published by Crave Entertainment.

After Crave decided to fold up Craveyard, he became the director of Business development for Real Networks in 2000.
