Koichi Ishii

Koichi Ishii has been with Square (now Square Enix) since 1987. Initially brought in as a game designer for Final Fantasy, he eventually brought the Seiken Densetsu project back together in 1991 after it was cancelled in 1987. He has directed and/or produced every game in the Seiken Densetsu series, including the remake of the first one for Game Boy Advance (Sword of Mana). He produces other games for Square, but he is still known as the father of the Seiken Densetsu series.
