Amy graduated at age 21 from the Computer Arts course with honours at Abertay University in 2008. During her years at Abertay she realised her desire to work in the games industry and that her passion was in environment art. She carried out a summer internship at Rare Ltd where she worked on Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise. After leaving Abertay Amy continued on in Dundee and worked as a graphic designer for an environmental consultancy company and also had a short stint as a lead artist on a small university funded project before becoming a QA Tester at Ruffian Games.
