Developer Biography

Jonathan Dowdeswell is the Executive Producer at Relic Entertainment, a world leader in innovative games for the PC and consoles and recent winner of the “Developer of the Year” award from Gamespy.com. Jonathan’s first title at Relic, "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War" (2004), was the winner of numerous accolades including "Strategy Game of the Year" from Computer Gaming World. Since then Jonathan has been key to the release of two expansion packs in the Dawn of War franchise: “Winter Assault” (2005) and “Dark Crusade” (2006,) as well as assisting in the recent launch of “Company of Heroes,” which is the highest rated real time strategy game of all time. Prior to joining Relic, Jonathan worked at Electronic Arts for 6 years on various teams including the original “SSX” game, plus the top selling “FIFA” franchise.
