Andrew Stagg was born in Portsmouth, England in 1966. He took an ITeC course at Portsmouth where ".. for the first four months you learn how a computer works, then you can choose what sort of programming you want to do". Andrew chose machine code and later went to Automata U.K. Limited on a job experience course where he was kept on. Andrew worked for Automata U.K. Limited from 1983 to at least 1984 on Spectrum games such as Pi-Eyed, Pi-Olympics, and Deus Ex Machina.
