Martin Turton

Developer BIO

Martin Turton - well, where do we start. After leaving school with 15 GCSEs and 8 A Levels (all at C Grade), Martin (or "THE MAN" as he often refers to himself) joined the Royal Marines "to test his nerve and also learn some basic cooking skills".

However, this was not enough for "THE MAN" and after serving in the first Gulf War and apparently suffering a rare strain of Gulf War Syndrome, he inexplicably went AWOL. The Government never hunted "THE MAN" down as they knew this was a very bad idea.

"THE MAN" then decided on a complete career change and with the bit very firmly between his teeth, "the turtonator" (as he also sometimes uses to refer to himself) took up a lucrative position in the gaming world.

With absolutely no formal training, "THE MAN" took to computers like a duck to water and was soon banging out games left, right and sometimes right down the centre! Bang! And so a legend was born, and that same legend has it that in order to gain inspiration for his latest Spider-man game, Martin wore a (badly) home made Spider suit (or possibly some old pyjamas from his childhood) in the evenings in the rough suburbs of Tamworth, just so he could see what it was like to be a real super hero!

"THE MAN" enjoys strong lager and old episodes of "The Sweeney". Bang!!
