Brian J. Farrell

Brian Farrell joined THQ in April 1991, as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, and was elected to his current position, CEO and President, in January 1995.

Prior to joining THQ, he was vice president and chief financial officer of Hotel Investors Trust, a New York Stock Exchange company. Previously, he was employed by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Farrell holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Farrell is currently chairman of the Interactive Digital Software Association, the major industry trade association. He has also served as co-chairman of the industry’s charitable foundation, which has raised over $2.8 million for children’s charities in its first three years. Farrell serves as chairman of the Price Center for Entrepreneurial studies at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.
