Roy Conrad passed away January 18, 2002, at the age of 61. He died from lung cancer, even though he had never smoked a day in his life.
Along with the many film and television roles Roy had in his career, Roy provided the voice for Ben, the starring character in the 1995 LucasArts game
Full Throttle. His skill as an actor and his unique charm in that role earned him many fans, and the outpouring of mail they sent him during his illness was, according to Roy himself, a great comfort and inspiration.
