Developer Biography

Ryū Umemoto (梅本 竜, 18th February 1974 – 17th August 2011) was a Japanese music computer from Yokohama. He never had any formal education in music and taught himself by experimenting with synthesizers. In the early 1990's he was hired by Family Soft to compose music for their Gundam and Macross games. He then worked on the soundtracks for various C's Ware games, as well as Yu-No (1996). During his later years he composed music for various shooters developed by Cave.
