Developer Biography

The 2D-Shooter Painium Disaster for the Atari Falcon030 was the first officially released game by Ronald Wendt also he had already developed other programs before. In 1995 he released Klomanager - Spül mir das Lied vom Kot for the Atari ST, which his friend Matthias Hofmann had developed, under his personal label Wendtware.

In 1998 he moved to Hannover to work as a graphics designer on Europa 1400: The Guild developed by 4HEAD Studios and published by JoWooD Productions Software AG. His main contributions were LowPoly models and textures. After the release he got involved in the game Thandor: The Invasion, developed by Planet4 and published by Innonics GmbH. Again his main job was the creation of LowPoly models, but this time Ronald also worked on the Game Design which includes background story, balancing and level design.

In 2000 he officially registered the company Anvil-Soft which he had already founded together with Ralf Zenker back in 1995. With the help of Matthias Hofmann, the company released its first title called Der Klomanager the same year. Ronald was again responsible for Game and Graphics Design. The second release he worked on was Kartoffelpüree: Der Gemüseshooter.

From 2007 to 2009 he was working on the strategy game Operation Barbarossa at Binary Evolution Studios that was released as an English version in September 2009 and as a German version in February 2010.
