Alexey Menshikov brings 12 years of experience in game industry to his position as Beatshapers founder and CEO, where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the studio, as well as business development.

Prior to founding Beatshapers, Menshikov was the co-founder, business development executive and director of development at Dynamic Systems, responsible for signing IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey (PSP, 5 SKU worldwide) and IGF 2009 finalist Hammerfight. From 2005-2007, he worked as a producer at KranX Productions, a Russian production company, during which he worked on more than ten games, including worldwide hits like EA’s Black and IGF Mobile 2009 finalist Rhythm of War and several console games for various handheld platforms.

From 1998-2005 he was the audio director for the first Ukrainian game development company, Action Forms Ltd., and participated in the development of five internationally shipped games. His total portfolio includes more than 30 games with various roles.

In 2002, Alexey created an audio software development project for sound designers - delaydots.com. Today, most game development studios worldwide use the software for their audio design (EA, Microsoft, Ubisoft, SCEI, Retro Studios and many others) as well as Hollywood composers like Marco Beltrami, Danny Elfman and Hans Zimmer for music and sound design for movies. Now, this company has been sold to Little Endian, an audio software company from Croatia.

Right now, Beatshapers self-published BreakQuest game for PSP minis platform and working on more PSP mini titles what will be announced soon.
