Nick Schreger is better known as "MeatWater" throughout the community. He was born in 1972 in Aachen, Germany and works as a musician and sound designer. He started working on entertainment software titles in 1998 with "European Air War" by Microprose, offering a "SoundPack" for download that became very popular among users. Since 2004, "MeatWater" has been focusing on sound design for Microsoft Flight Simulator add on software packages.
Some of the titles he worked on: European Air War, Panzer Elite, Strike Fighters, NASCAR 4, entire IL2-Sturmovik series, Mercedes Benz World Racing, Battle of Britain I&II and a huge number of Microsoft Flight Simulator add on aircraft and utilities.
Apart from his work as a sound designer, "MeatWater" is also an editor of FlightXpress Magazine, the leading printed magazine for flight simulation on the German market.
