Developer Biography

Kelley Gilmore has over 20 years of professional experience in the gaming industry.

She graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Business Marketing and worked in a variety of other marketing arenas, entertainment, sports, health care and publishing.

She was a partner in KGMCommunications, Inc., a public relations agency focused on the hi-tech industry before joining Firaxis Games in 1999. Since then she has held the positions of Communications Manager and Director of Marketing.

She’s best known throughout the company for her daily mantra: "We’re currently developing two of the most highly anticipated games in the industry…"

Kelley is on the Advisory Board of the Teen Website Project of the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education.
